Can Stephen Mokoka end Kenyan's domination?

The South Africa top runner and record holder Stephen Mokoka carries the hope of many South Africans to clinch the 21km World Road Championships in Riga on Sunday.


Stephen Mokoka, made his debut in the bi-annual 21km global championship arena in Brazil back in 2008 and has since become a consistent athlete in all races he run, representing South African team in a number of international competitions, including the Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games.


In a highly anticipated World Road Championships in Riga on Sunday 01 October 2023, Stephen Mokoka will go all out gun blazing to stop the dominance of the Kenyans in an International arena although it will not be a walk in park.


Mokoka is the eldest among the twelve-member team who travelled to Europe for the World Road Championships, which includes 21km, 5km, and 1.6 mile races, Mokoka has been quietly but diligently preparing for yet another significant international challenge.
