One sure way to celebrate the completion of the epic journey between Durban and Pietermaritzburg is by proudly donning the official Comrades Marathon race t-shirt. Now, thanks to the Comrades Marathon’s technical sponsor, Mr Price Sport, runners in this year’s Comrades Marathon have the option of an added memento.

2024 sees the return of the Comrades Marathon Maxed Elite Finishers’ Jacket. Stunningly designed in the Comrades black and golden yellow tones, this unisex jacket is lightweight, wind resistant and durable.

Made from polyester elastane, complete with a hoodie and pockets, this bespoke sports jacket can be worn as a functional addition to your running kit or as statement casual wear; and will be available in sizes Small to XXL.

And unlike the Comrades Finishers Medal, you get to wear your jacket more often, a much-loved and wonderful reminder that, ‘you did it and you deserve it!’

Only 1500 units of this limited-edition Comrades Finisher’s Jacket will be available for purchase at a retail price of R699,99 (incl. VAT) by athletes who have qualified for this year’s race. Orders may be placed through the runners’ entry profile at www.comrades.com from 7 May 2024 until 31 May 2024.

These jackets will then be available for collection at the registration counter in Durban or Pietermaritzburg, depending on the selected registration venue on the athlete’s entry profile.
