Thanks to the generosity of #TTOM2023 runners, R231 893 was donated directly to the Two Oceans Marathon Initiative, TOMI, during the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon 2023 as part of R1 549 748 raised in total for charitable causes linked to the event. The Two Oceans Marathon Initiative now invites charitable and philanthropic-focused organisations to apply for funding as beneficiaries of the funds donated directly to TOMI. Beneficiaries must use the funds towards one or more of their projects. Projects must be aligned with one of these four TOMI pillars: education, environmental sustainability, health and wellness, and athletics development.
