200m: Letsile Tebogo steps onto the Diamond League stage for his first major 200m outing of the season. He faces stiff competition from Joseph Fahnbulleh and Elijah Lindsey, both determined to challenge his dominance.
800m: Bryce Hoppel leads the charge in the middle-distance event, with Nijel Amos showing promising form. Kenya’s Wycliffe Kinyamal kicks off his season, while Cheminingwa makes his debut in the 800m. With a strong lineup, the world lead is under threat.
5000m: A highly competitive field features Yihune, the fastest entrant, alongside near-Olympic podium finisher Lobalu, road specialist Birhanu Balew, and indoor standout Cooper Teare. A sub-13-minute finish is the ultimate goal.
110m Hurdles: Olympic silver, bronze, and fourth-place finishers Daniel Roberts, Rasheed Broadbell, and Enrique Llopis headline a stacked field. They are joined by American Trey Britt and European talent Lorenzo Simonelli, setting the stage for a fierce battle.
400m Hurdles: A blend of experience and rising talent defines this event. Veteran hurdler Devon Allen lines up alongside Malik James-King, who impressed at the GST meets.

High Jump: Doha will witness an Olympic podium rematch featuring Hamish Kerr, JuVaughn McEwen, and home favorite Mutaz Barshim. None are at peak form, leaving room for an upset, with Ryoichi Akamatsu and McEwen also in the mix.
Javelin: The men’s javelin event boasts an elite lineup. Neeraj Chopra and Anderson Peters enter the competition with just one meet under their belts, while Jakub Vadlejch and Julian Weber launch their seasons. The athletes will benefit from favorable winds as they throw in the direction of the 100m straight.
Discus: Matthew Denny arrives in Doha after a strong Australian and Oklahoma season. He faces Kristjan Čeh, fresh from the European Winter Throwing event, while Daniel Ståhl makes his 2025 debut, promising an exciting showdown.
